John and Craig form the powerhouse musical duo Mojo Mules, both are dynamic multi instrumentalist performers, steeped in the music of The Blues. Mojo Mules play blues straight from the soul, bringing traditional blues into the modern era with a contemporary twist. Earning admiration from Blues fans and new listeners alike.

 

The duo both from Northampton formed after they played together for the first time busking on the street.

A musical connection instantly formed with John's powerful voice and tasteful yet intense guitar playing, which has been known to make women cry (in a good way.) drawing comparisons to Peter Green and 

Craig's harmonica playing that has been described virtuoso level providing a soulful cry to their sound.

 

Despite him having the disability Cerebral Palsy. Craig is known to turn his hand to many instruments including keyboards and lap-steel guitar.

Initially playing mostly acoustically they have more recently been playing in an electric setup with Craig adding Hammond organ and electric keys to their sound. This array of sounds enables them to play a large variety of Blues styles. Drawing influence from the Texas, Delta and Chicago blues. This will be reflected in their debut album with a release planned for 2026.

 

Since their formation they have gone from strength to strength. Crafting an entertaining and soulful live show that has impressed audiences all over the UK. Performing at many blues festivals. Highlights include, Swanage Blues Festival, Broadstairs Blues Bash and Dereham Blues festival. Mojo Mules have set themselves apart, quickly establishing themselves as one of the UK's most exciting and versatile Blues acts.
